Finally “ON DAD!”
After a long drought, Friday night seemed to be a good night for me. The sea was an off colour, flat and cold. First cast produced a sandy of around 90-100cm, then second cast on same bait got a nice pull from what I thought was a shark at first then when the fish finally surfaced briefly we saw the black bands and extended lips which made it clear that it was a nice piggy! Unfortunately he won the fight and I lost him in very shallow water which instantly put me in a depressed mood. A few smaller Kob were then pulled out by my mates and released, then around an hour later on the incoming tide I got a pull from this little chap. Far from the biggest, but my personal best Kob.
