Cintsa Map
Cintsa East is reached by road or micro-light aircraft only. From East London it takes between 30 and 40 minutes. With unspoilt sandy beaches and a variety of fauna and flora. The beach area from Cintsa West to Cape Henderson, including Cintsa East, is regarded by conservationists as one of the most beautiful beaches in the world.
You have the option of fishing rocky gullies, surf or the blind river. At the rocky point some nice Shad come out early morning in winter. You can also try here for Kob, Streenbras and other panfish like Bluefish. The point is also a good spot for dropshot and the Gully on the other side of it as well. Cintsa Bay is a nice piece of surf where some Kob could be picked up on bait or spoon. If the weather is bad you can still have some fun in the blind river catching River Gurnard, Kob and maybe the odd Kingfish or Leerie. (Garrick)

Rocky Point fishing for beginners…
Are you bored and do you want to have some new experience in the beach? Try some good old Rocky Point fishing. Who knows you might get hooked and catch the most priceless catch ever.
……
The Pegs is a deepwater spot situated just left of the 1st batch of rocks to the left of the river on the pic. Mostly a low-tide spot off the rocks. Bring pink prawn, sand prawn and chocka for the blue fish. Also good for cob. You dont hook fast as much here.
To the left, past the rocky point, keep walking to the next point then a little further gets you onto some large flat rocks known as Veranda Rocks. Take the light rod if the sea is calm. All your usual gulley fish come out here.
