Wavecrest situated at the mouth of the Naxaxo River offers a fisherman an opportuity of catching his dream fish, Leervis, Skipjack, Snapper, Kob, Grunter and Kingfish are all taken regularly. The angler has two rivers to fish at Wavecrest and a short drive offers a third alternative in the Kobanqaba There is a policy of catch and release, so be warned. Hotspots in the rivers are Nusi or small river, drop off, 1st creek, 2nd creek ,Snapper rock and top strait. Naxaxo or big river, flats, sand dunes, wooden bridge, top chanel and top pool.
